The Studio
I’m an HGTV addict and have watched all of Grand Designs and anything about construction and renovation. So converting the garage into a studio was fun and lots of headaches. There were lots of phone calls and waiting.
The work began in October 2019 and they just put in the floors when lockdown happened in March 2020. I spent another month painting and moving into the space. My previous studio was in the laundry room at the house as I waited for the project to be finished. Before that it was a one car garage for many years that also served as a storage space and laundry room. So after 36 years of making jewelry I’m in a space I’ve been thinking about for 36 years. Which didn’t take long for me to fill.
